I began my journey through the martial arts as a child and teenager. I spent years involved in a wide variety of these arts as a student and then teacher. I came to the practice of yoga in 1997 and was immediately stuck by the similarities between the arts. Yoga was added to my passion for movement and I soon after became a certified teacher.
Understanding the origin, history and technical aspects of the yoga and martial arts systems that I practice has always been an important part of my study and teaching. I focus on proper alignment, flowing transitions and concise cuing to create a challenging, safe practice that is appropriate and rigorous for all levels. Everyone is welcome. We will advance and improve together through continued practice and finding our own edge.
