I took my first yoga class while I was at Mizzou during my junior year after I was invited by a friend. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, I’d never practiced yoga before let alone a heated class. After that first 80 minute class I was hooked, I found myself going back more and more. It wasn’t until 2020 I found myself living back at home and discovered the Endorphin Effect to continue my practice. After spending such a long time in quarantine I found that the instructors and the classes were just what my body and mind needed. Yoga has become one of the best outlets for myself and has had an amazing impact on my physical and mental health.
